Overnight Stay in a Yacht: East Coast of Ibiza

This itinerary is especially suitable when wind and swell come from the west, as the east coast of Ibiza offers naturally sheltered coves and calm seas.

Day 1 — Cruising Toward Ibiza’s Quiet East

We depart from Marina Botafoch and cruise along the island’s tranquil eastern shoreline. Our first stop is the beautifully protected Cala Llonga, a deep bay shielded from westerly winds and ideal for a peaceful morning swim. Here you can enjoy the Seabob, gliding effortlessly across its clear waters. After a relaxing start, we continue toward the more remote coves to the north.

Our second anchorage is the serene Cala Olivera, a small, picturesque cove tucked between rocky hills that block offshore winds. The crew prepares light snacks while you unwind on deck or snorkel around its rocky edges. The calm, transparent sea makes it perfect for sun-soaked relaxation. We then cruise north through a coastline filled with rugged cliffs and pine forests.

The final stop of the day is the tranquil bay of Cala Boix, one of the most protected spots on the east coast thanks to its steep, surrounding cliffs. Enjoy a late lunch at a nearby beach club overlooking its distinctive dark sand. As twilight approaches, we return onboard for a freshly prepared dinner by the crew. The night is spent at anchor, surrounded by peaceful waters and starry skies.

Day 2 — Northern Gems & Return to Port

We wake up in the serene atmosphere of Cala Boix and navigate north to the stunning Aguas Blancas, a sheltered cove when the wind comes from the west. Its long stretch of coastline and dramatic cliffs provide the perfect backdrop to try the E-foil. Meanwhile, the crew serves a fresh breakfast on deck. After a refreshing session, we continue toward Ibiza’s lesser-known northern hideouts.

Our second stop is the peaceful Cala Mastella, a narrow and well-protected inlet famous for its calm, emerald-green waters. This is an excellent place for swimming or paddleboarding in near-flat conditions. Its quiet atmosphere offers a moment to truly disconnect. The natural beauty of the surrounding pine forest enhances the feeling of seclusion.

For the final stop of the itinerary, we drop anchor by the picturesque Cala Nova, a wide bay that remains calm when westerly swell dominates. Enjoy a late lunch at a beachfront club known for its bohemian, relaxed vibe. After your meal, we begin cruising back toward Marina Botafoch. The experience closes with a light dinner onboard, prepared by the crew as we approach the harbor at sunset.
