Overnight Stay in a Yacht: Formentera
Embark on a two-day yacht adventure from Ibiza to Formentera, discovering serene coves, turquoise waters, and iconic beaches. Experience overnight stays at anchor while enjoying water activities, gourmet dining, and the island’s most picturesque spots.
Day 1 — Southbound from Ibiza
We depart from Marina Botafoch and cruise toward the turquoise channel that leads to Formentera. The first stop is the sheltered cove of Es Caló, naturally protected from northern winds and ideal for a calm morning swim. Here you can enjoy the Seabob, gliding effortlessly above the pristine seagrass meadows. After relaxing on board, we continue sailing along the eastern coastline.
Our second stop is Cala Saona, a bay protected from easterly swell thanks to its high red cliffs. Its crystal-clear water invites you to snorkel, sunbathe, or simply unwind as the crew prepares refreshing snacks. The atmosphere is serene, offering a perfect mid-day pause. We then cruise gently north toward Formentera’s signature beaches.
The final stop of the day is the renowned Illetes, usually well-protected from westerly winds. Enjoy a late lunch at a beachfront club overlooking shimmering emerald waters. As the sun begins to set, we return onboard where the crew prepares a freshly made dinner. Your overnight stay is spent at anchor, under a sky full of stars.

Day 2 — Northern Formentera & Return to Ibiza
We wake up in the calm waters of Illetes and set course for the peaceful Platja de Llevant, a superb choice when the wind shifts to the west. This wide, quiet bay is perfect for trying the E-foil, soaring above the sea in total freedom. A fresh breakfast is served on deck as you take in the contrast of dunes and crystal waters. Afterward, we cruise slowly toward the northeast.
Our second stop is the pristine island of Espalmador, well sheltered when southern winds pick up. Its calm lagoon and endless sandy beaches create a dreamy backdrop for swimming and paddleboarding. You may also enjoy a peaceful stroll along the untouched shoreline. The usually flat sea makes this a wonderfully relaxing anchorage.
For the last stop of the itinerary, we anchor at Cap des Falco on the return toward Ibiza, protected from easterly winds by dramatic cliffs. Here you’ll enjoy a late lunch at a beachfront club with a laid-back Mediterranean atmosphere. After the meal, we continue cruising back to Marina Botafoch. The journey ends with a light dinner prepared by the crew before disembarking at sunset.
